For those unfamiliar with the term, a drabble is a short succinct moment captured with the utmost economy of words. How short, you ask? The perfect drabble is 100 words, that may sound easy, but it's not. Most drabbles cross the 100 word mark, but are kept quite close to it.
I belong to several drabble communities on LiveJournal which post weekly challenges. I enjoy drabbling because so often it sparks an idea that I can use in a longer story or, on a few occassions, the drabbles have become jumping off points for larger stories. Here are my entries thus far.
